Avelinda is a great Southport 30 powerboat built right here in the Boothbay Harbor Region in 1996.
The boat is rugged and seaworthy in any weather condition. She is also fast. She is well-appointed with comfortable seating for up to 6 guests. There is a toilet (head) on board!
VALORA was designed and built in 2018 by local master boatbuilder David Stimson. Her design is based on the amazing traditional sharpie designs of Commodore Ralph Munroe. Her sail-carrying power relies on an 800-lb centerboard and 10,000 lbs of inside ballast. She is fast and stable.
She has a great reputation as a amazing charter platform from her time operating out of Martha's Vineyard. In May of 2023 we purchased this great boat and sailed from Martha’s Vineyard to our homeport of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
Valora can seat up to 6 passengers comfortably and has a head onboard.
